Builder Profile & Contact

Tommy Scott is 33 years old, married with three young sons. His skills are not mechanical.  Tommy is a good salesman and has a creative eye.  The best way to describe him is laid back.  Tommy comes from a good family that owns successful businesses in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Texas, Tennessee, and Georgia.  He likes to eat spicy foods, chew Levi Garrett, go to hockey games, LSU football games, play guitar, and spend time with his kids.

In 1993, Tommy attended his first NASCAR race at Talladega and has been hooked on motorsports ever since.  In 1994 he hooked up with a customer who owned a dirt track late-model car and started helping out at the shop and track. He stuck with that until the team split up around 1999.  At one time Tommy was a promoter of a local dirt track and started his own business trying to market local teams and tracks to businesses.

Upon the birth of his first son, Tommy’s activities in racing slowed down to almost non-existence.  Tommy is part owner in several companies and works as Vice President of Marketing. He works hard and dabbles in many hobbies.  Tommy is involved in civic groups preserving local and state history. He also made a commitment to go back to college and finish. He takes a couple of night classes each semester attempting to earn marketing degree from LSU-Shreveport.

The Talladega project has been a vision of his for years.  Always wanting to be a little different form everyone else, this resto-mod will undoubtedly turn heads on the streets of Shreveport.

Chris Griffin, 31, is an interesting guy.  At first glance you might think he would belong in a biker bar smashing heads.  He is capable of that, but this is a talented and intelligent person.  Chris was blessed with mechanical skills from the beginning.  In high-school he owned several rides that required him to learn to diagnose and fix problems frequently.  His first car he loved was a 1970 Pontiac LeMans.  No one could believe it when he sold it.  Chris has owned some cool rides through the years.  A 69 Superbee, 1930 something Ford Street Rod, 1990 something Corvette, Jeeps, 1955 Chevy, and a 1950 Mercury to name a few.  He is one of those guys that rattles the nerves of the guy at AutoZone when the guy asks an irrelevant question. He is a walking car encyclopedia.

One day Chris got a tattoo and it changed his life.  He was soon inked up from head to toe.  He started an apprenticeship and became a tattoo artist for years.  Bored with lifestyle and wanting a new challenge, Chris graduated from college with a degree in criminal justice.  He soon took off to Fayetteville, AR to attend law school at the University of Arkansas.  He married and graduated from law school in 2-1/2 years while working in the local prosecutor's office. He took the bar exam in February of 2005 and passed. He is now works for the City of Rogers, AR as an assistant city attorney.
